Jordan’s life passion is to help people have peace of mind and protect their legacy . He believes everyone deserves an insurance professional who will do everything possible to help their clients’ dreams become a reality. Jordan believes that whatever profession a person chooses in their life, they should do it to the best of their ability! It’s this personal philosophy that guides his decisions and enables him to serve his clients to the best of his ability through experience, knowledge, and a high level of professionalism.
With almost a decade of experience in the financial industry, Jordan serves as founder and CEO of The Shank Group. He believes that education leads to empowerment; because of this, he dedicates his time and energy to helping clients gain a complete understanding of their personal financial situation and insurance needs. Jordan is a graduate of WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where his degree was focused on business and marketing. Jordan and his family understand they are here for a very important purpose: to serve others with the gifts and talents that have been instilled in us. He resides in Charlottesville, VA with his wife Meghan.

Meghan brings a vast array of knowledge and experience to The Shank Group, LLC. Her resume boasts an impressive list of organizations and foundations of all sizes where she has created significant impact. Meghan now brings that same high level of skill to The Shank Group. In addition to her hard work and dedication with the company, she has had a remarkable influence on the local Charlottesville community through her work with children who have special needs. She has a passion for every one to be able to communicate and this passion has guided her past work as a pediatric speech therapist. She is an active member of several non-profit organizations that advance services and support for families of kids with special needs.
She graduated from Curry School at University of Virginia with both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

The biggest thrill Jane gets is when she can see the “aha!” in someone’s eyes. Talking about the insurance business and finding the right people for our team is a sometimes complicated process. It’s for this reason she enjoys working with people of all experience levels and helping them see how things work and fit together.
As the agency’s hiring and onboarding manager, Jane works primarily behind the scenes making sure we have the right people in the right roles, and that we function as a true team. She is a longtime entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, working in various departments and firms over the years, and brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience.
Jane is originally from the UK and now currently resides in Charlottesville, VA with her husband and three adorable beagles.
